Vintage “Dolly Toy” Balloon Vendor Nursery Lamp/Night Light (1970s)

H.B. Holtvoigt started Dolly Toy in Dayton in 1923 as The Dolly Folding Kite Company. He was later joined in the business by his sons, Hubert G. Sr. and John, as well as his daughter, Mildred.
The company closed its doors in 2008.
The Dolly Toy company began creating nursery lamps in 1958.
John Holtvoigt designed and produced the Balloon Man lamp, possibly Dolly’s most popular product ever in its long line of products.
